    Hi Mrs. Aginoth - I posted a response to your comment over at Astryngia - and I can't find your email, or I'd email you!! So instead, I will post what I wrote on your blog, in case you don't get back to see hers. :)

    BTW We were in Weston-Super-Mare two summers ago and just loved it. It reminds me of a cross between the OLD Atlantic City (NJ) and Chicago!

    The mistake is in thinking the doctors are "trained." They aren't. Not one of the ones I saw outside of a children's hospital knew diddly doo about autism let alone Aspergers.

    If you have a children's hospital near you, please try there before you go to an ed psych. You need a place that has access to all kinds of doctors so that they can have a complete team evaluate him.
